Interesting C64 vs Spectrum competition :)

I found this few days ago:

http://www.alfonsomartone.itb.it/fztsmo.html

Its a C64 vs Spectrum trial...

Its pretty funny, unfortunately not good for commodore side... Mostly because of bad c64 competitors...

p.s. Offcourse C64 is better than specy :)

yes, it's a true story; it all happened here (south Italy) in Feb'1985

Yes, quite old.
Besides some cross-posting by Speccy fanatics on Usenet, this battle-axe was buried years ago.
Some speccy stuff is quite impressive, imo.

Wow, that was insanely slanted to make the C64 look bad. But we all know the real truth! :)

"The black seemed to switch off the TV set. The blue was simply stunning. The red made the room warm. The magenta was like an exotic icecream. The green was something like freshly rained grass. The cyan was like the ocean's water. The yellow seemed got off from a fluorescent pen. And the white was clean and soft, like when the computer was turned on."

these speccy colors makes my dick hard :D

I must admit, spectrum has some mighty looking colors (yellow is awsome :), but at the end they are just different...

Would like to bring all those guys forward in time to show them all the stuff we have now... :)

About those colors.... the old VIC-II chip also have almost that saturation in the colors (at the cost of lesser luma dynamics ofcourse).

"The black was the colour of a infected toenail. The blue reminded me of my fingers before I lost them to frostbite. The red was the same colour as that rash that the steroid couldnt clear up. The magenta was like something left on the pavement outside the kebab shop at 4am after a bender. The green was something like snot, only not as nice. The cyan was like cyan (its never good). The yellow was the colour of urine after drinking 13 beroccas. And the white reminded me of the pus that oozes from my cat's eye on occasion."

Speccy = RGB = always 100% saturation
C64 = PAL = everybody can have his favourite saturation
