We are fine as long as you obey dutch law, don't make any mess and don't bother other visitors by occupying too much space.. |

@Angel of Death: I guess you're planning to sell Commodore related stuff, right? If some of them are Commodore related, i might be one of your customers. |

Yes. That would be c64 stuff.
And although I'm not bringing that much and I have no idea of the actual value making some extra money is always nice! :)
See you at the party then. |

If you are still in doubt about going to X-2012, we are happy to announce that the surprise act has been revealed.
Reyn Ouwehand will be performing live on stage.
So make those reservations now if you haven't done so already! |

That's awesome!! :)
Btw. hey X orgas, regarding what Angel of Death is asking - how about making this a little bit more organized activity, some kind of a 64 flea-market? ;) Maybe reserving some space and/or time for such thing? I know it'd be something completely new, but I think there might be more people interested in that... |

Oh Noes! What have I done? I've given people ideas. :)
Is that common on other parties (8-bit or otherwise) to trade and sell stuff?
I was even thinking to bring an audio tapedeck to see if I can make some .tap transfers. (hmm... I hope I won't be buried under an avalanche of tapes now) |

pack avalanche of original tapes: check :-)
On the trading topic: the Out of Orderia-parties used to have an auction of stuff - that was always great fun. :-) |

hello everybody.
I am planning to drive to X2012 from Italy (hopefully I won't come empty handed and contribute to the releaes), but since my wife wants to be there as well, then there is the problem of the kids.
This would be my first time to X, how would 2 young (4 and 1 years old) kids fit at the party place? I mean, is there place for them to run outside or inside. What about sleeping rooms? How are they organized? |

personally i would keep my underage kids as far away as possible from any party like that =)
other than that, its in the middle of nowhere, not much could happen.... if you manage to take an eye on them =P |

Sure, bring your kids.
About 200+ rolemodels drinking, swearing, puking and sweating.
And there's Deekay who is always in the mood talking about the birds and the bees accompanied with some colorful REU demo with animations.
To be honest, find an alternative for your kids.
X, or any other demoparty, isn't a place for young children to play. There a no facilities for kids.
Also for a lot of visitors, X is the bi-annual moment to escape from family life.
Call me rude but your idea is a bit naive.
