Debunk64 sourcecode has been released
Debunk64a:
a memory visualiser tool for c64 production.
you can watch instruction sets, opcodes and operands
in realtime while analyzing your production.
you can also change memory values in RAM.
inspired by ICU64 and Frodo Redpill.
hopefully some of you will find new tricks using this tool.
the sourcecode has been released. this tool was inspired by ICU64 and Frodo redpill, but i thought they lacked some features and i had to make it easier to manipulate memory addresses in realtime and for it to have features like documentation-lookup (instructions, cycle and byte-counts etc). so i made my own tool to get a fast overview over the memory map and to be able to change the memory locations i wanted in realtime while watching the output in the vice-emulator. years later, the sourcecode got too messy and to continue the dev-process would take too much time. so i bring out the sourcecode to the community if someone want to bring it forward. i dont want to start coding a new tool all over again, due to lack of time and other projects im working on atm. the tool did what i set it up to be and i was happy with the results. still there is alot of bugs and there is alot of features that can be added. now you can do whatever you want with the sourcecode it as long as you dont make any profit from it. its free for the demoscene and for people who would like to explore how the commodore 64 memory map and instruction set works. also thanks to the Vice-team for the best emulator that has ever been made!
