Need help with Retro Replay and old RR-Net
Guys,
So I blow of the dust, get everything set up, hit a brick wall.
Ok, so I'm waiting for a 'ZoomFloopy' and a 'EasyFlash 3' to turn up in the mail, but I decided to get my old Retro Replay and RR-Net out and connected.
Last time it was used was about 6 years ago. I can't remember what IP address I put it to, that is, if I changed it.
So, I have ran Contiki and it says it's on 192.168.0.64 (or is that the details it's pulling from it's own config, not the rr-net)
I get a laptop running Windows 7, Ethernet out the back, to a netgear switch, I set it's ip to 192.168.0.2
I run ping -t 192.168.0.64 on Windows. I put the Retro Replay into 'The Final Replay v0.6' mode and hit Shift + F5.
When I ping, I get a reply, until I hit run/stop and then I get a time out... so, in thoery it's communicating, right?
ok, why when I run netdrive, codenet they fail?
I've tried a simple codenet -w program.prg and I get the reponse 'C64 did not acknowledge the file transfer request!'
Can anybody help me, I would like to get this working before I receive my two other bits of hardware?
I am partly getting WarpCopy V0.6 to work, I can send the server, and send a 'read directory' command, but I don't see the directory appear, maybe because of the initial bug at the beginning? (DD2Interface -> Create Surface() error 88760233

Have you tried specifying the IP-address? I.e. codenet -w program.prg -n 192.168.0.64 |

you are confusing a few things there...
1) there is no ip config saved "on rr-net" (unless you have an mk3, which i guess you do not)
2) contiki takes its config from its config files
3) final replay ROM saves its config in its ROM area, you must patch it before flashing. to change it at runtime use the "setip" command in basic
4) the warpcopy server shows the config it is using when it starts up, and you can also change it then |

@ Klegg - Thanks, that seemed to do the trick, I Shift and F5, sent it, hit run/stop, and run...bam it was there.
@ Groepaz - Told ya, it's been a long time since I messed with it :D , but thanks for the tips and guidance.
