8[6-9] lame crack intros
Hi!
Does anyone have some "lamer groups" intros from the period I guess '86 to '89, where the group was based in Germany and called something like
- FLC (Fast Light Cracking Group)
- Powerstack
- Techno
- NCG (Ninja Cracking Group)
- CCG (Cool Cracking Group)
- Icon Arts
- Satanix
Or is there anyone remembering having ordered an Intro from a guy called "Kai" living in Lüneburg? That would be me, I made a few bucks (well a few DM, like 20 to 40 DM per Intro) in the eighties. I don't have much of my old stuff left, and I would certainly chuckle if I'd be able to find some more of it.
In my "high period" I was member of Bytestar, which is the highest level I can be proud of (laugh!). But generally, I was just someone unknown. At least, I could find myself in the database of this site. (have a look at "Thinker") *smirks*
I don't remember anyone who I made an intro for, but if you read this and remember, please speak up. Don't be shy! There were much more "lamers" than "cool personalities" anyway... ;-)
Oh, there is some old code here: http://moonage.net/disk1.d64
So long,
Kai.
aka. Thinker / Bytestar, Mantronix, FLC...

Haha,nice message! 8)
Coincidentally I ran into the name "Icon Arts" today when I tried to find a complete version of Brutal Recall #10.
They were greeted on one of my Titan disc-covers..
It appears I have swapped with them, but I can´t remember.
Still,it is funny to hear you actually made some money!
Most of us probably didn´t. ;)
Unfortunately,I have nothing of what you search for.
Good luck with tracing it.
I don´t know any other names from your list, but it has been a long while..

Ehm, talking about "lamer groups" - you were a member of Mantronix? ;)
Well I knew Stetsasonic/Stet of Mantronix. I also had a swap mate in Bytestar. He was from Denmark (? At least from the north of Europe) or something like that.
Good luck with your search.

Bytestar; hmm, I traded with someone in Bytestar for a while *flips through old adress lists* Ah, yes, Dr. Error of Bytestar, who lived in Hamburg.
Cant recall having any intros from any of the groups you mentioned though, sorry.
