Commodore Scene

Hello.

Check out Allan Bairstow's work on the Commodore Scene and if interested, subscribe to the magazine. The magazine is of high quality and is a fine addition to a Commodore hobbyist's library.

The website is:

http://www.commodorescene.org.uk/

More interestingly, Allan has included four sample pages for Commodore Scene 2003 edition. Check out sample page number 97 at:

http://www.btinternet.com/~commodorescene/issues.html

The page contains a part of an interesting article on C64 graphics, if I may say so. Ok, I authored it. :)

Enjoy.

The magazine has changed to a "yearbook" format, meaning subscriptions cover the whole year whenever you join. You also get a folder to assemble the pages in.

Also, you can order the files by e-mail and print them yourself.

...and all of only £19.99 (plus £4.99 P&P), yes only £19.99! Remember, this offer is not available in shops... Guess who's seen the TeleBrands adverts on assorted cable channels too much recently.... =-)

Actually, has anyone else ever wondered *why* those offers never seem to be available in the shops...?

Those offers are not available in shops because that would push the price up (they would have to offer distributors/wholesalers/the shops a cut).

And this wasn't an infomercial, I was just pointing out that the e-mail option was available to people who didn't know about it yet.

Well, the fourth sample page, the one about demos, is quite interesting. Ofcourse the author concentrated om the technical side only but I didn't expect anything else. Is there any way I can read the rest of the article (without having to buy the full mag)?
