I looked in my tape collection - the instructions just say "Created by Al Lowe and the Disney team" - sorry. I even searched through memory and there is no list of names. (I did notice the scrolltext from the tape loader - mine is a tape copy saved to disk with Super Snapshot - and it's back to front!)

maybe the tune is done by the coder of the game, like it's been done often 'back then' .. but funny that you mention it, because i really adore the ingame tunes aswell.

Yeah, that probably is the case with a lot of tunes in /GAMES. Still, as long as we don't have proof or at least a significantly strong guess we won't change the credits.
Those tunes from Donald Duck are actually pretty awesome for that time, the instrument preset is really well done!

There was a series of educational games from Sierra/Disney/US Gold back then - Donald Ducks' Playground, Winnie the Pooh in the Hundred Acre Wood, a Mickey Mouse title and Gonzo in Wordrider. As far as I know it was the same crew who did them all.

Does Al Lowe have any other music credits?

According to this Al Lowe discography (http://www.allowe.com/al-games.htm) he made the music for Donald Duck's Playground (1986 Donald Duck’s Playground - Design, writing, music & programming). He made also a few other gametunes aswell, probably most known is Leisure Suit Larry 1 theme.

He should probably get place in celebrity directory so retro users can start new fresh threads of obsessive sid music talks... ;-) Anwyay yeah music is very precisely done and the sounds clear and cute. Thumbs up Al ;-)
