Wanted : Golden Disk 64 with Pirates !
It must have been issue 06/1995 i bought for getting a fuckin original of PIRATES ! from Electronic Arts.
The CP/Verlag aka Walter Konrad (founder of 711) sold an "original" to the german/austrian market for around 10 Euros.
All i got was an 1:1 copy of the ESI cracked version without intro. On the backside i even found an deleted singlefile game cracked by Cosmos.
Anyone got a copy of this Golden Disk ?
I wonder if they ever had the rights to sell it in this form even (no codewheel ? no map ?), same for the other "originals" they sold this way.For example "Turrican 1+2 etc.."

this one is in gamebase, but an original if you can call it that will be hard i think.

Pirates had no codewheel but the dates spread throughout the manual.
Also in several mags there were printed 'hints' for pirates that went like: "on side B you find a file that lists the dates".
Always thought that was funny :) |
