Kentilla by Rob Hubbard
This is a masterpiece. Hear all the sounds and everything...
No composer of today have ever been near..

Better comment on the SID instead of starting a forum thread: Kentilla |

Hubbard is classically trained, thats why not many come close to his quality
in old days, most musicians were actually coders, forced to make music |

Ok, _seriously_ - of course it is not a bad tune at all. But I am really curious what you hear in it that makes you say "No composer of today has ever been near". I cannot hear anything special with the exception of some unexpected progressions, something that is way more sophisticated in stuff Fred Gray or Richard Joseph did.
What is it?

What Linus said. While Kentilla is an interesting (and yes, good) tune, it's nowhere near best ever. |
