RESOLVED - Setting up Ultimate 64 with Action Replay crt (can't load files with /)
Hi everybody. I'm in a panic mode now. I need to setup working .crt ideally Retro Replay or Action Replay, as it was bundled with Ultmate 1541 II card. But in Ultimate 64 there is no cartridge. I have load some crts. Namely Action replay 5 and 6 and tried. But I was unable to load any file. No sound of drive head moving or loading anything. Did I use wrong crt images?
My preferences so far (tested some other but no result)
Cartridge preference: Auto
Bus operation mode: Quiet
the rest 4 ... grayed out.
Please help. I need to make it working so I can load and save fast the DMC5.0 files that are huge.

I have reported a bug to Gideon considering the use of freezer .crt files. An idea is to degrade to the previous version.

In firmware V3.10, select the Action Replay Cartridge, which you regularly use then in the menu, flash it as a default cartridge. Reboot the machine, and you'll see the action replay menu active.
Next "mount" the disk image with DMC V5.0+, but do not run it from the Ultimate 64 menu.
Go to the Action Replay fast loader, and load DMC and run it from there. Then afterwards mount your DMC V5.0 worktunes disk and then load from there. |

Thanx Richard, I know how to use it with AR, but I was unable to install the actual crt. I had to reset U64 to factory settings. |
