Petcat + 'crunching'

I couldn't find it, but is there a switch or something within petcat (boundled with Vice) which crunches input or does this have to either be done manually or do I have to make a 3rd party utility to pre-process programs?

i.e.

10 for i = 0 to 9 : poke 53280,i : next i

crunched:

10fori=0to9:poke53280,i:nexti

Obviously spaces within quotes "this space" should not be crunched.

I think there is a tool included with exomizer that does this. Might strip more than you want though.
