Information is a bit shattered, but BHF obviously passed away last night.
He was such a great guy. Rest in peace. We will keep you alive in our memories. |

I'm sad to hear this and I really wish it isn't true, because I'd love to meet him again, anywhere, anytime. Bård's a funny guy with a big heart and well-thought-through opinions, and we've had hours of fun talking! |

Damn a SAD SAD day, when I was up in Trondheim like 3 or 4 times we met every time and had some beers (more maybe even more than that lets say we had fun every time) even met several members from Hxs.
we talked allot about the scene and interests in life, he was really committed to the scene and Trondheim, and his group Hoaxers, he made every effort to push forward and managed well. I was very impressed by that.
He even moved back to Trondheim from Oslo to be more close to home (family) and Hoaxers. I mean he had great plans for the future, and really enjoyed him self in his new position. He wasn't a slave for the every day mundane work where he managed to pass that and take it in a different direction. this was my impression of him. He was truly an inspiration for me as well.
Damn... this is so SAD. RIP my friend, our memories will keep on living... you and ZTH(HBH) at Sanna Skolan Censor Party :) where we went out on discos in GBG... which resulted in Slaygon never coming home from GBG (he still lives in GBG) hehe and all other adventures that started from there on.. actually I think there where earlier stories aswell even in Norway Parties :) |

My condolences to all who were close to him. :(
I only "knew" him via internet when we discussed using a tune I created for him in 2011 (nwp2011), later from Facebook, when he reached out to me in 2016 and we connected there as well. Very positive guy, he was also one of the first people to subscribe on the Unepic SID Channel. |

I had some good c64 coding talks with him at the time I was a member of Hoaxers. We always had interesting conversations on the phone every time I gave him a call. I met him at X'2012 and a couple of Solskogen-parties. I even visited him once he lived in Oslo a couple of years back. He was a great guy to be around with. Rest in Peace BHF. :( |

Very sad.. Best memory was at Solskogen 2012, having a long talk just him and me out in the sun outside our tent. Always very cheerful and happy spirited, way too early to leave us and very sad indeed. |

Incredibly sad news, but it makes me happy to hear how well loved he was. Always cheerful and positive and a great guy to hang around if you're an introvert like me but still want to meet new people. He brought people together and with his positive spirit, nothing was ever awkward. Even from the first time we met, at the Horizon Party at Vårbyskolan in 1990 I thought he was a special guy. I remember the Hoaxers+Abnormal guys had rented a bus and talked some girls into going with them to data (+ some other stuff). Good times! We reconnected in the last 10 years with our "revival" in the C64 scene when he lived near me and I was sad the day he decided to move back to Trondheim, but to hear this was a real kick in the gut. You are missed but you made your mark in our lives, Bård. |

BHF is the sole reason Hoaxers went back online again in 2011, had it not been for his eager attempts to get us back in the scene, it would not have happend.
He was a great friend indeed for the 30 years I knew him.
He will be missed. |

Hello everybody, and thank you very much for the kind words regarding BHFs death.
We are devastated by the loss of BHF. He was the glue of the whole Norwegian C64 community, and knew everybody. It was quite an experience to be with BHF at X2016, and see the way he spoke to everybody. BHF was an extremely likable, social and fun guy that will be remembered for a long, long time by extremely many persons.
His family has asked for contributions to the Norwegian Diabetes Association, and we in Hoaxers have set up a Facebook fundraiser. BHF had diabetes, and the association work to ensure a good life for all people with diabetes, and to prevent the causes of the disease. All contributions matter. Thank you for your support.
