Group id #3800 : RCS 2100

Might have been a reincarnation of R.C.S. Industries but I haven't found anything that really link them together.

I also have serious doubts that Porno Demo 1 and Porno Demo 6 in fact should be credited to this group. They are the only two releases from 1987, and this "Russian Cracking Service" thing seems more like a practical joke. And it's never been mentioned in any of the later productions.

Could this possibly be the work of R.C.S. Industries or are we in fact looking at a third (!) RCS from Switzerland? O_O

I also doubt the abbreviation RCS stands for Russian Cracking Service, but who knows. Swiss teenagers used to call their groups also e.g. Zorro Soft Switzerland ^^

Anyway, good work, Bepp.

Just found Nucleus + which was cracked by FJ. What makes this an interesting release is that the scroller contains a reference to Igor (who was sitting next to FJ), and I'd say this is a strong indication that he was a member of RCS 2100, also meaning that the Porn demos might actually have been the early work of this group :(

Perhaps Igor was the founder?

Igor is also mentioned in Times of Lore so he was definitely a member of the same group.

Hey guys, I have in the meantime clarified this.
Peter/Stingray has answered my E-Mail enquiry as follows:

RCS Industries has nothing to do with RCS 2100 (Russian Cracking Service 2100). RCS 2100 was my (Stingray's) group, which later was a founding element of Crazy.

Addition: Yes Igor, the creator of the Porno Demos was a member of RCS 2100. This has as well been confirmed by Stingray.

From Stingray:

* RCS started 1987 as Russian Cracking Service. Later the name was changed to RCS 2100.
* The homebase of RCS was Silenen, where Igor was living.
* Members of RCS has been Igor, FJ, KT and 1-2 guys I don’t remembers.
* For short wile RCS was a part of Bros, before Crazy was founded. That was the time when I changed the name from FJ to Stingray.
* The rest of RCS either left for real business (KT) or worked in the background of Crazy (Igor).

If the Sharks intro scroller is true, Strip Poker II (Sam) says Russian Cracking Service was a subgroup of The Sharks or they were trying to become part of The Sharks.
"strip poker two was cracked by rcs 2100 of the sharks ! date 29/5/1988"
