Yes, we organize Arok this year as well and are expecting your productions to be shown ;)

Demos will be shown real-time on a C64C with a real 1541 (in proper condition, "new" old-stock disks) so if your loader is only stable with floppy emulators then it'll be shown in the wild category.

The beamer can do smooth scrollers without jumping and there's no huge processing delays ruining audio sync.

Graphics are shown using s-video for near emulator quality results. Interlace pictures are visibly flashing on the beamer so don't count on blending.

Please note that this category (and also the others) may be entered with other 8-bit computers as well (like a +4) so there's more than one way to beat Leon at home ;)

For the music compo we have 8580/6581 selectable. Multi SID tunes may not compete in this category. Btw. we have quality equipment (not just for concerts) and it'll be Vincenzo and not me who's setting it up ;)

The remix compo is quite popular. You may submit remixes of C64 or other 8-bit tunes in MP3 which is played at 256 kbit using MP3@64+IDE64 with a C64. Higher bit rates or lossless formats may be submitted for the release package.

For the disk sleeve drawing compo (cover compo) please submit your scanned drawings a week earlier (4th August) so we may reproduce/frame them nicely.

In the wild category anything goes unless it was disqualified for some reasons (e.g. offensive, boring, unrelated). In practice this means the entries are usually videos but I'd love to see some SCPU/IDE64/REU/etc. entries as well.

Remote entries are welcome of course! We won't post any winnings not picked up at price giving therefore please consider coming or get someone near you to come ;)

Btw. we have a new party location in the centre of Ajka so getting there got a lot easier this year.
