Voted on both CSDB and votesheet. Also added a comment or even a mini review on most prods. IMHO people don't give enough feedback, let it be either what they like or don't particularly fancy, how a tune makes them feel, what it reminds them of etc. It's a small community with likeminded enthusiasts, and getting honest feedback from your fellow weirdos is, in my opinion, more valuable than a bunch of anonymous scores.
Lots of nice tunes in the compo again btw! <3 |

Voted and reviewed all songs.
This being my first participation in CSDb, just want to say I appreciate everyone who left comments. Every aspect of my tune that I was satisfied with myself has been mentioned in the comments, so clearly you guys took the time to listen. Getting only positive comments and a numeric downvote doesn't help learning though :D |

Yours is a fine tune! Just keep them coming and you’ll always learn new bits and pieces. I’m not convinced that you really need negative or otherwise ‘constructive’ criticism to get better - do your own thing... :D |

@jab: currently one 5 (<- yeah, a little harsh, but so what) and one 7 (<- which is a figure really hard to lable downvoting at all but can also be explained by individual taste) among many higher votes, that's not really downvoting you need to worry about. |

I see, if downvoting means (intentional) manipulation of the average, then it was a wrong choice of word.
I just wanted to add to what Jojeli said, that a written review is especially valuable if you’re voting significantly lower or higher than the average. |

I see your point.
In case you are ever confronted with real downvoting: Well some of the true downvoters are just jealous hater dicks, so they won't bother telling the author anything helpful to improve. Others might even hate you for some secret reason. Some just wank a lot when they manipulate some stats, yeah... Just don't think too much about 'em, ain't worth your time. |

Quoting ChristopherJamI tend to scale my ratings whenever CSDb rating is being abused as a compo voting platform (ie, if everything 'deserves' between 7 and 10 I'll often stretch that out to 4-10 instead, then try and remember to rescale back a few days later) |

…and I haven't even started voting on this compo yet :D |

But also, this compo has an external votesheet, I'll save any point stretching for that. |

Ok, voted now. Don't forget the external votesheet people!
six and a half hours remaining if I'm not mistaken. |
