confusing... in the 2nd part of Super Music VI there's some "Eddie" typing. So is this Unknown maybe a group? Or is Eddie his real name? And why does "Eddie" rant about freeze crackers, although Ninja is a clear example of a very lame freeze and Space Harrier even a "recrack from freeze frame" for whatever this means...
Anyway, that dude seems(!) your average mid 1980s German loudmouthed re-cracker, though I liked his crack intro (not knowing back then all gfx and music was ripped) |

What a mess - I first thought you are right, that it is actually a group, but then I came to the conclusion that it is much more likely just an alternative handle. Check Super Music VII - there he just used Eddie, and didn't mention Unknown anywhere. So I created an Eddie and glued him to Unknown. |

I'm Unknown. I think somebody used a hex editor and replaced my name with "Eddie" here and there.
It wasn't a group. It was only me and a friend who sometimes provided me with "uncracked" or unfinished cracks, and I did my best.
This friend was Arthur C. Clarke (can't remember his real name), and I have no recollection of any "Eddie".
But that was all 36-37 years ago. Looking at these old demos/cracks now, I feel very weird. I almost forgot all about them. And it's kinda embarrassing how bad they are, from nowadays point of view. |

I've cleaned up the record, removed one wrongly attributed crack, and removed "Eddie" completely. |

No matter how bad they were, of some games they were the only versions that made it to my schoolyard in the late 80s :)
Also your scroll in Gauntlet intro told us "throw all other versions in the dustbin!" :D

Had to re-fix few details here and there. :)
First of all, you actually did use a group name at least in one instance, so I created The Pirates
Then, I re-attributed Zone Ranger to you - I think you had just forgotten about it. Check the SYS line, it is exactly yours. :)
About the Eddie thing, as bad as it is, I re-added him in the releases which he clearly ripped off from you, just to document his shame. Now it remains to find unaltered versions of those releases, exactly how they were given out by you. They would then also get their own entries here.
