Okay, so speech synth etc.
Apparently you're using formants, but you usually want at least 3.
There's music going on at the same time, and the 2SID setup appears to be used for stereo rather than 6 mono voices (unless i misconfigured VICE).
I wonder how it would sound with more formants. :) |

It’s like 90% filterwork. Sometimes I use modulation to emphasise phonemes like „a” or „e”. A bit about the music - you can hear in the fitrst part that there are two groups of „singers”. We don’t have 8 channels for 4voiced choir, so - number of voices is dynamic (and depends on musical context). Sometimes it goes wild all six voices, sometimes two. I will release a .sng file if you are interested but I should also warn you - it’s a mess :)
My goal was to create a piece that you could sing and that has a real musical value - music describes words, there are logical phrases, there’s climax in the music etc. I really hope that you can enjoy it also! That would be an achievement for me. |
