So how was this thing organized? You had a common framework for all parts and the demo was built gradually, or was it individually programmed parts cobbled together in the end?

Was it planned any more throughly than just "let's make something halloween themed"?

I 2nd Mankeli's questions here. As impressive as the demo is, by far the most impressive thing to me is that HOW.THE.HELL. did you manage to pull everything together?? This is a massive software project, with a hefty dose of coherent design and aural and visual art sprinkled on top, flawlessly executed, in just ~three months.

I would love to see a white paper (or a blog post or similar) about how this demo turned out to be. About how the design process went, how it was wireframed / scripted, managed, what kind of tools and toolchains you used, how did you keep everyone in the loop and motivated and up to speed, etc etc etc... There are things for us mere mortals to learn from here for sure.

I had the same questions :) So, we asked Trap if we could interview him about it for the upcoming Transmission64 party. Working out the details now.

It was a team effort. Mikael, The Sarge and Sparta take a very big part of the credit for making the whole project run smoothly.

My strength is not knowing anything about anything. So I just say lets do this and other people says OK and then it feature creeps and after a while there is a mega demo and no-one can't understand what and how it happened. The bliss of knowing nothing.
