sorry folx but there's the field "Handle alternative spelling " in scener entries, having another entry just because someone prefers dropping a capital is utterly confusing, hence I deleted this one and added the scarce extra info from the older one (1 event 1 ex membership) to primek |

And that's pure bullshit, you should force the name properly capitalized in the entry, then you can add the alt spelling with As mUcH CaMeL CaSe as you want.
If people don't complain with proper db usage their editing privilege should be revoked. |

iAN: well, strictly speaking yeah... was a sledge hammer solution, aiming at as much acceptance by users involved as possible
However, db orderliness-wise anything is better than having 2 entries just for capitalization of 1 letter |

Forcing capitals when the correct spelling doesn't use them is bullshit as well in my book. But what do i know :)

iAN CooG: asd and ocd shouldn't be more important criteria than plain respect for other people's choice (and 'history accuracy' first of all) ;) Besides subjective sense of order and aesthetics I cannot see any other reason for formatting entries in fixed way. Same for replacing well capped screenshots to obsolete dull palette which definitely wasn't default experience for many users (some really eyebleeding cases beg for it, sure). |
