Release id #235613 : Danko 50

Just wondering about the type of release. Demo, or music collection? It's really kinda both...

What a weird reaction to Krills statement... he just stated a fact. I am sure he wasn't thinking of you or your demo AT ALL (nor tried to be funny).

Polish scene seems to be a weird place indeed.

It’s not only Polish scene. We just released a demo on another platform and nobody gave a fuck what was animated and what not, they just enjoyed and appreciated the demo. Imagine that ;)
Nevermind, you can close this topic. I did get answer to my original question, nobody cares, fine for me.

The topic is about the demo Danko 50 and not just your specific question, so the thread must be left open.
I suggest you don't give a damn about what others think. Do what you like. There will be always someone that have different opinions in any case.

You got that wrong. The database simply can't properly reflect what it is. "Music Collection" (or "Graphics Collection") are "Sub types" of "Demo", they are not properties that contradict each other. There are many other cases where a similar problem exists - but we have to live with it, because that's just how it is in csdb (and will not change until someone steps up and produces a better system).

@Wacek, E2ira is still riding high in the charts so I would be very pleased with that..? I don’t think that Krill was referring to your demo at all.. there are more recent demos that are animation heavy, in the top 10 right now, but the creators of those wouldn't worry about the comment at all… and the watchers of demos clearly appreciate animation-heavy demos just as much as realtime/codep0rn. I would try to relax and move on from the whole anim vs realtime thing, really. Plus, didn’t you just prove at X that you can ace realtime demos? That was my feeling, anyway…

TLDR: chill, Wacek, all’s good :p

Indeed. It should also be noted that it's always the same handful people who are crying a river for this topic. See Crowd Pleaser - familiar comments? :)

Thank you for generalization. We feel properly judged finally :)

*sigh*

As this threat doesn't seem to get on topic ever again,
it's *CLOSED* before it's getting really nasty.
