Event id #3349 : Complete this SID tune challenge
Dear All!
Since decades I have wondered how this lovely SID could have sounded if finished, recently I had the idea to make a compo of completing it, and now I have built the courage to start it off as a Csdb event.
The SID in question:
https://deepsid.chordian.net/?file=/MUSICIANS/D/Doussis_Stello/..
No rules, who can finish it better? Maybe not a bad idea to include the original start, atleast something similar :) CSDB voting decides the winner, you will get eternal fame :-)

Brilliant idea for a compo IMHO! Hoping this will be at least as popular as the famous Last Night compo. :) |

Puh, yes that is a "challenge". Not really much there to build upon :-) |

Hi.
To help others with starting their tune I just put my personal "siddump VERWURSTER" tool online:
https://siddumpverwurster.jesus-rocks.com/
It takes a SIDDump output TXT file* [ SIDDump V1.08 ] and displays it in a nicer form.
There are no real features besides a "fake" pattern view and setting offsets and speed. But I find it a lot easier than working with a plain textfile.
Of course people with perfect pitch won't need those helper tools anyway. But I'm not one of those :-)
*like this: https://trans.jansalleine.com/DeSpaceSound.txt
Setting "First Frame" to 2 and "Speed" to 6 (default) does it for me in this case. |
