Better hurry before it's too late! The attic is not an ideal place for old fragile disks. |

A Hint: The release made by Joe might have something to do with a certain Antic Demo...
Zyron: Some of my discs survived anything from dust to magnetic fields, creepy animals and the like. And they were stored in the basement even. However, they did not survive the fire they got exposed to ;P
Oxidy: Did your FLT krackout game ever hit the streets? As far as I remember it was under the development throughout a complete Skurup party. I remember one guy doing a car game... Do you remember?

Zyron: You're propably right. I've had my disks in the attic for the latest 4-5 years and it's likely that the contents of at least some of them has been or will be lost forever. Let's just hope it's nothing unique. I started to transfer many years ago, but it was so time-consuming that I gave it up after a couple of disks. This was before the RR-Net though, so I might give it another try some day. Which disk transfer tools are the best to use today?
Ed: You had a fire in your basement where you live at Värnhemstorget? Arson?
Yay, had totally forgot about that krackout game. I wonder what happened to it. Guess I'll find that too on one of my disks. |

Oxidy: No. The trashdealers took care of my discs: http://www.sysav.se/Templates/Page.aspx?id=198

Oxidy: I'm fairly sure that Alfheimers was made at the Simrishamn-meeting. (The one where I drank a bottle of Jack Daniels and later passed out in the park.) |

Zedrick, that is if it really is you: you passed out on one of the Skurup meetings as well. ;D

I have been digging and also created some events concerning the Skurup meetings/parties. I encourage you to help me fill in the details if you remember any.
The compopicture made by Joe is most likely a picture for the Lunacy 7 and may be found here |

Oxidy, I can recommend Acidchild 1.0, Maestro 0.98b or Mace 11.ø for transferring. They're all equally fast and reliable. ;-)
disks to transferr
Otherwise I recommend Warpcopy from http://www.oxyron.de/html/wc64.html. You need a Retro Replay and the RR-Net cartridges for your C64 in order to use it.
It's roughly 25 seconds per diskside, you won't go significantly faster even if you have a parallel floppy speeder and the X*P cable combo with opencbm or Star Commander. |

I really need to do some transfers here! Please let me know what is the fastest way to do that! I have plenty of discs you know! :) But I guess I need money and the kids out of here first! ;)
Sheers! Skål even! |

Either that post was ironic (sorry if I missed it then) or it's just plain stupid. I just gave you everything you need to get started transferring _two posts above_ and you ask the same question again as the poster _three posts above_.
By the way, that all has nothing to do with the Skurup party, we should continue in the transferring thread. |
