BBS id #187 : Second To None

Should we make a distinction between dial-up and internet based boards?

For instance, calling S20 as Web-BBS was years later and also means other users. Most of the old users were gone at that time. (same might apply to Antidote on Telnet).

A big difference between my BBS "Antidote" and "S20" is that "Antidote" still basically runs the same system, and has the same userlog as it did when it started, aswell as hosting the classic c/g screens (aswell as additional new ones), and also partly running on the same hardware.

The "same" userlog is ofcourse a truth with modification. A userlog is a living entity with deletions and additions. But, I made a rule when I resurrected the BBS over telnet, that those who had called the BBS when it was on dial-up and were still in the userlog at this time would not be deleted, wheter they would ever connect to the BBS again or not, they have deserved their place in the userlog forever. Those people are about half of my userlog, roughly 200 people.

People who registered after the BBS went telnet are subject to yearly cleansings totally based on my current mood. ;)
Though, some of the newer users have proven themselves as reliable supporters too, and are on their way to archieve this undeadly status too.

I can happily say that a large portion of the original callers have connected to the BBS since it was put back on telnet, some are still regurals and some pass by now and then.

When it comes to "S20" I can more understand the talk about this being two different boards. If this entry should be divided or not however, is another question. I lean towards no, afterall, it was the same group behind both incarnations of the BBS.

Are the BBS links obfuscated intentionally?

Same bug as mentioned in the other BBS-entry topics. Fixed this one.
