Release id #47453 : Channel 4

I am now sure, the music is by Charles Deenen.

Proof is at
$1467 - and onwards in crap.sid
$13fd - and onwards in ninja_remix.sid

The players ARE identical, with minor differences.

Charles already admitted his memory is very bad to me,
but the screenshot i made of these 2 routines, will convince him :)

Thanks to Hein for pointing crap.sid out!

I HAD checked some CD players, but not that one.
Ninja remix player just dont look like typical MON at all.

Thank you for this definition of "identical", I'm sure I can use it at work! ;)

It's an indicator, but not a proof to me. Sorry to be so skeptic, but this tune is just too good/non standard/outstanding that somebody could forget having composed it.

For example Anthony Lees said he wished he did it, but the honest soul he is, he can't help me out with it. What I'm trying to say is, why should someone deny having composed this if it's clearly too good to be "forgotten"? Chances are Charles simply didn't listen to the attachement when we've asked him. He saw the title Ninja_Remix.sid, shrug shoulders and hit the reply button with a short "sorry" because he was in stress. Just speculating.

CHARLES, get over here and finally admit it! :-)

Can't wait to find out who composed this tune! My bet is on Charles!.... those vocal effects remind me of another tune he made around the same year.

Same player doesn't mean a great deal. How many used MON and Hubbard players?

How many used MON and Hubbard players IN 1987? If you ask it this way, the amount of suspects shrinks to a dozen at most.
