Release id #72866 : V-GA +2
Does 'looking for the crack' mean you have it somewhere, but couldn't find it at the moment of creating this entry?
Or are you asking 'us' to find it for you?
If it's the latter, creating empty entries is not the right way.
This also counts for:
Imshi +2, Cut In +, Super Monaco Grand Prix, Mighty Bombjack +, Hazar +1H, Gremlins 2 +3, Cylogic +2P, Oilmania +3H and Mad Springs +4
[edit]...and a shitload of others you made. |

hu? ofcourse this is "the right way". if a release is know to exist, then it deserves an entry. How else would we even know what to look for? (and no, some searchlist on some other site doesnt really count) |

Just make sure that the wanted list on c64heaven.com is updated as its the one mirrored to TDD.
Also its the list that Mdz's tool can you use for scanning. |

all respect to your efforts - but thats not how it works. few people use that scanner tool, and probably even less have access to your archive.
if you demand people to stop adding entries without a file and instead submit those to your searchlist - then i could just aswell demand that you first add everything from your archive (or TDD) to csdb. see how that doesnt work? :)
ps: infact i have done very much the same thing (added entries which i knew existed and didnt have a file) - and found a fair bit of files that way. |

I didnt said you should drop making them here, but just make sure they are on the missing list too. |

uhm yes sure, that wouldnt hurt ofcourse :) (however, with the php wizards you got at hand - it should be almost trivial to create some little script thingy that grabs new entries from the rss feeds and adds those with no files automagically =P)

Ok, perhaps I'm wrong.
But then at least the entry should state why the creator is so sure the entry exists.
How valid is reference to Gamers Guide? |

stuff mentioned in gamers guide does almost certainly exist - they only reviewed cracks that were send to them.
(that said, masons searchlist includes everything from gamersguide already, *afaik*)
