Okay, just tried them and even though I respect the effort put in these games, they just couldn't keep me interested for more than 10 minutes. Guess I'm just a lousy gamer. But besides that, I see that they could definitely put on par with demoscene releases.

The only game I played on C64 for a longer time was Slicks, and it's still one of my favorite automotive-games of all time. Pity that they seriously fucked up the progression of advancement-levels.
