Handle id #21755 : The Skyrunner

Copied from the entry:

"Later member of DNA followed by Powers of Pain on Amiga."

If member of an Amiga division of the group Powers of Pain, why is their a notice on the C64 entry here?

Should I update my entry to include the various PC scene groups I've been in that started on c64?

Either he was in c64 Powers of Pain or he wasn't. This isn't Amiga, PC, Atari, etc. database.

Quoting Lau
I initially entered Powers of Pain as a C64 member, of their C64 division, soon to be followed by the Amiga and was merely stating it to give people an idea of the timeline.

Don't you have things to do in the scene other than getting your knickers in a twist over such details?

Besides, if details matter as much, why not have a look at the fact the demo group Ultravision was a Dutch founded group, not Norwegian. I should know because I founded the #@! team right here in The Netherlands ;-)

CSDb <> scene

This is a database about scene history. As such we need true information about the entries. Looking at your entry and that text could easily leave anyone to believe you listed yourself in a c64 group but as a member of the Amiga division.

No breaks for anyone here, sorry. Do things right or get the fuck out - real simple.

Thank you so much for pointing that out, and in such elegant wordings too *APPLAUSE*.

Ow, and ref your first reply, it's "why is there a notice" in proper English, I suggest you study up [/nitpicking mode off]

Lau: When I read your texts than I see more than one "THEIR". I personally would be somehow careful to give somebody whose mother tongue is english english lessons. Please take this just as an advice.

To Lau: Don't take us to seriously mate :) Moloch is right, and he puts it in perhaps strong words to someone new here, but that is because he spend thousands of hours correcting and checking this database, and since a lot of people have tried to damage the database over the years, he and others aswell are quite protective of the database.

Just know we are happy you are here and adding to this database the correct data about your scene-life. this way the database can only get better. So thanks, and welcome...

No probs Celtic and thank you for your kind words. I've changed the info accordingly, my apologies for the wrongful entry.

Some nitpicking about the database here and there, sometimes without much sleep. Maybe CSDb should be avoided during these times? ;)
