hmpf. we probably should have never told anyone that there is a merge tool :o) ... because: the ONLY thing that can be merged with it, are scener entries for different handles which are not connected to the same person. everything else, ie duplicated groups or duplicated scener entries which use the same handle, must be done manually - and for this reason, PLEASE only post those in the forum which the mods CAN merge, and do the rest yourself :)

I dare anyone to think of a way that such a magical merge tool would work... because how can such a tool decide which info to merge and which to drop. :-)

[edit]
Ok, merged.
Members Goldrush, Int, Reject, Stash and Eniac are now member of Weird.
The only release of Weird Designs (Overlay) is now released by Weird.

@Groepaz: See.... reminders obviously help to bring other people to do stuff. Co-operation is the key.

that doesnt change the fact that posting a reminder instead of simply doing it is pointless and unnecessary and a sole sign of lazyness. just do it instead.

"Fact"? "Sign of Lazyness"? Luckily I don't live in your world.

so what exactly stops you from merging two entries if they are not locked then? "i am to lazy to do it and posting a reminder will be less work" seems fitting.

I really thought there is a merge tool for manually merging different types of csdb-data :/ so sorry coz I posted a few reminders in the past. (Un)Fortunately I will have forgotten the absence of that tool when I post my next reminder. "i am too lazy to do it and posting a reminder will be less work" is just coincidence :)

basically what we can do is merge one handle with another handle. We cannot merge releases or groups, so unfortunatly that has to be done by hand :(

Weird Design was built after sum swappers (e.g. Hooper and me) left Weird. It was ment to be as a legal demo group. members were Stash, Goldrush, CTB, Dr.Presley, Eniac & Dalton.
Dalton was a composer from Yugoslawia that time
(i remember a fab U2 cover of with or without you. Danzig may remember that sid, too!).
WD died after some weeks, the grevenbroich'er guys disapeared completely, such as Dalton. Eniac was still abit busy ,ifaik.. in fact they released long way more stuff than published in here (but also a fact is, those cracks were never really worth to keep'em on disc in those days ;)).
