Event id #102 : NTC & Defiers Hacker Party
Is this event the same as Furulund Meeting October 1987 and possibly even Furulund Meeting September 1987?
There was even supposedly a meeting in Furulund in may: Furulund Meeting May 1987
I remember NTC & Defiers Hacker Party very fondly because it was my first. It lasted only 24h and me and Karl XII met the Vortex 42 guys there and coded Turbo Hack V1 at the party including crunching. ;)

It's the same as the "Furulund Meeting October 1987", yes.

October is the same party!
It was my first and I was invited by the NTC!
I traveled with Sal and Yankee.
I met many other SoS members for the first time.
I have some old photos with the SoS group from that meeting!

I was invited by Nova.
I remember they had some deal with the local pizza place to order pizzas cheaply. They went around and made lists of what everyone wanted. When the pizzas finally arrived it turned out they made approximately double the amount so we basically got two pizzas each for the price of one discounted pizza. |

So if it was only 1 day, I assume it was on Saturday 6th October, and the duration October 5 - 7 is wrong?
If the entries are merged, which name should be used as the main name? |

This is the meeting where Mahoney & Kaktus met for the first time. At the time they were Zax and The dark overlord. |

I'm the one who created Furulund Meeting October 1987 once, and I remember doing it because there was something contradictionary in the scrollers of the releases which made me assume that they were released at two different Furulund parties. I can't remember the exact details though since it was 6 years ago. |

Shouldn't trust my details too much either because that was 25 years ago. ;)
It could have been that the party was longer and that we showed up there late. I read in some scroller the other day that the compo entries had to be coded at the party though, so that part of my memory was at least right. |
