Release id #113902 : Pirates! 101% +10DR [pal/ntsc]
I am among the people who can report that the .d64 release does not work on an uIEC3 setup. I have tried both 0.10.3 and nightly build 2013-4-1 firmware. Both hang, with black screen and no disk activity, when I clear the trainer screen.
Hardware:
NTSC 64C
uIEC SD 3.0
As a side note, it also seems to think that my EasyFlash 3 is an REU, but even if I try to just Play from disk, or remove the EF3 entirely, the result is the same--black screen and no disk activity after the trainer screen.
(The EF build of Pirates 101% does work correctly on this hardware.) |

uIEC (any) is not supported, this device is not programmable. Sorry. If you wish such devices to work, demand that the hardware creators follow commodore/cmd design standards and make the devices smart and programmable.
As for the EF issue... will pass it along. |

Confirmed, n0sdos really DOES detect EF3 as a REU. This is a bug, and it will be fixed. Thanks for the report jcompton!

If you were asking me, the answer is "yes." Playing the disk release off supported magnetic media (FD-2000 1541 partition), it still sees the EF3 as an REU but if I simply tell it to Play the game, we get to the game. |
