First!

Hey, a new topic, just for graphics. Nifty!

I used to draw pictures in Koala Painter a looong time ago.

Now I draw on paper and scan it into Photoshop:

Do any other old C64 graphic artists still draw today, outside the C64 scene?

I know Hobbit/Fairlight works at a comic book publisher today. Does anyone else draw for a living?

Quote: Honestly, I didn't know that the Doom project was cancelled. Well, off to new goals, ey? ;-)

Honestly, I wanted something fresh to work with. New goals but I don't want to talk alot about the goals without a show of work along the way.

Someone else can take on the Doom project if they want.

I wasn't getting the time at home to really work with that. Graphics at least relaxes me somewhat and this is just one step in the process.

I decided to release this at least as a contribution to the community. As with more time, I feel, my works will get better. I did initially have plans for the upper portion of the pic but I was given a week for that so I decided to leave it blank at the moment in time and release this as it is.

Anyway, I'll let my works speak so there is no need to talk. Just do. :-)

Quote: @Wildstar: it is real simple to make a SHFli or UIFLI executable.
Simply save the viewer of the format on the same disc and then pack it with Sledgehammer (start=$1000).
If you start on U(I)Fli,let me warn you..
It takes a long time to finish something, but the results are great!
Ok,enjoy the painting!

Sledgehammer asks the following:

Change Load Address

then the more interesting part:

Save Name:

JMP TO:

$01:

------------------------------------

Now, I just want to know what I need to fill in. I got the load adress figures but what is the JMP TO: and $01: part.

Don´t change the Loadaddresses, they are already correct.

JMP To : $1000 (startaddress view-routine)
Set $01 to #$37

Now it should work fine!

Ok, got it packed now as is executable and works in both NTSC and PAL. Thanks

TCH, I've seen some of your work. I'm definately impressed! You rock! :)

If you have a chance at some point, check out Wildstar's SHFLI C64 friends pic. I think you can download it by going to his profile on here. Definately not shabby for a first pic. Certainly better than my first one :P

@Fuzz, thanx man! 8)

I checked his drawing when it was uploaded here.
That´s why I helped him getting it executable. ;)
It sure is not bad for a firsty.
Hope you didn´t check my early graphix. ;P

Hi!
Yes, I do... Redstar/logic. I do some comics, cartoons and have also been involved in projects of animated TV-series... like "The three friends... and Jerry", "Tosh", "Creepschool", "Bjorn Bear" etc.... All done on paper. Well, to do the stylesheets and predesign at least. I also tried to do some commercial tattoo-design aswell, bu that didn´t work at all. You can see the failure at www.designcamilo.com , hehe.

Oh... I miss the old Koalapainter.... but now, Antichrist, I will check out that link you have up there.
