Most common two-color hires format?
Hi gfx'ers
I think it's fair to say that the Koala Painter file format is the most widespread/common one for multicolor bitmap gfx.
If I were to make a tool that takes a hires picture in some native C64 format..
What would you say is the most common/used two-color hires gfx file format? |

Whatever uses "koala with the colorram and background color byte ripped off".
I never had ArtStudio or Doodle, I wrote my own tool, using the mentioned 'format'. |

Thanx for your replies! That's two votes for Art Studio (OCP Hires) and two votes for Doodle.
Another way to ask could be
"which native C64 hires formats are supported by the various other-platform gfx drawing programs?"
(I'm not on Windows, so my ability to test those is limited)
What we got so far is:
Pixcen supports Art Studio + Doodle
What about other other-platform programs? |

Multipaint supports only "Art Studio" as HiRes format. |

reveals that Timanthes supports Doodle, so now we have:
Pixcen supports Art Studio + Doodle
Multipaint supports only Art Studio
Timanthes supports Doodle (+Art Studio?) |

I am not sure, where this journey will go...
but this program has a lot supported graphics formats:
At least it can load all different formats (over 70).
(Including a lot of HiRes formats)
View64 V1.60
Source code is available.
