pIESIU is not better that MIRAGE!!!

http://carrionpixels.wordpress.com/2011/04/17/please-stop-vote-..
please stop stupid voting on CSDB!
An Atari guy who did only 2 pics on C64 is not better than Arch, Mermaid, Mirage, Hein, Veto, DK, STE'86 (yes Steve ;) )
Keep it in mind!

Carrion, by now you should realise that you are very lonely with your point of view. Now a process of selfreflection should start. In this process you yould try to figure out if your point is right with an objective view including the opinions of others but not to delete theirs. You should start to get a result on the basement of scientific work. If you do not manage to get there, come back. We are here to help you.

Btw.: My intelligence sources told me that you really have a strong problem with the voting on here, complain to these sources and try to get an influence with your votes to make the total result go into your direction. So ask yourself: "What's wrong with me !"

ROTFL Carrion. CSDb is not scene, but database, and voting system will never should be taken seriously because it gives you only subjective point of view, they are ONLY numbers, we all have different tastes. Giving someone 10 doesn't mean that he is best than others.

People who cares only for comments and points acts like a kids.

The charts do not take the amount of votes into the calc.

Sort it out, drama over ;)

Ignoring that I also don't care much for votes and think that they're overrated in general, I'd just like to say that Piesiu is IMHO one hell of a pixelmaster and most certainly plays in Mirage's (and Mermaid's and Archmage's) league. Happy Teddy is one fantastic piece of art and some of the finest pixel craftsmanship, and check out these Piesiu-pics on Atari/Speccy:

And Im not growing tired of suggesting to just count all votes > 8 accumulative for gfx, music, code.
6 * vote 10 = 60 points
20 * vote 8 = 160 points
etc.
Maybe someone who is (even ;-) more into database stuff than me can play with CSDb votes and give this approach a try?
Last time I checked that manually I was pretty content with the overall results.
Oh, and what groepaz said ;-)
