Tunes playing in wrong speed

Hello, when playing the HVSC sid-file for Sinbad And The Throne Of The Falcon, it plays too fast. I assume this is a pal/ntssc issue. How do I go around this to get a corect playback-speed?

Which player do you use? Why do you think it is "wrong"?
I use "Sidplay2/w win32 version 2.6 (Aug 6 2011)"

You can choose: Settings->Emulation->Clock speed->

-> only if speed is unknown

otherwise it will detect NTCS/PAL clock speed flags and play the tune automatically at the correct speed

Thanks for replying. I use the 1541 Ultimate Sidplayer. What's wrong is that the tunes playback a bit too fast. I can't find a way to change clock speed within that player. Can I change some parameters within the sid-file itself in order to get a correct playback?

I don't know that player, haven't got an Ultimate, so I can't tell you if this one checks header for adjusting speed.

You could use this one
Sidplay64 V0.8
or that one
PlayEm64 V1.0
Both detect PAL/NTSC and adjust timing. SIDPlay64 even runs on NTSC systems.

PS: "too fast" Ehhh. Though you didn't tell us if you use PAL or NTSC system I suppose the former from your Sindbad problems. Normally NTSC files should be played slightly too slow(!) on PAL machines. -> Are you sure you don't remember the speed wrongly because back in the 80s you had played an NTSC game like Skate or Die! on a PAL machine? If you want that undone you could of course use SidEdit to give the .SID files the WRONG(!) PAL flag ^^

Yep, sorry I'm on a PAL system. When playing the game on my machine, the tunes play like they should, or atleast like I remember them. Like here:

The sid-file's playback is slightly faster. But maybe that's the "correct" speed, and I've been living on a lie for all these years running an NTSC game on my PAL system? The horror... Anyway, thanks for the Sid-Edit tip!
