Goattracker ARP pulse table + vibrato
This concerns Gopattracker2
Question 2 first:
Does vibrato in the instrument have any effect when you use a standard 41 arp wavetabel?
Question 1:
I have little inspiration. If you think of a nice pulse table, you will be creditted for the next demotune I make.
If you have no clue then just give me 4 random numers,
1 number: #81-#FF + 1 number: #00-#ff
1 number: #00-#7F + 1 number: #00-#ff
Maybe even 2 times :) |

Quote: You can kind of cheat your way through the vibrato on ARPs hell by using something like this:
41 04
01 80
41 05
01 80
41 09
01 80
FF whereever
Regarding the pulse program, what kind of instrument do you need it for?
Testing it now, and damn! this is some next level stuff :D |

The arps are short stacked, house-like chords; 13 of them..some get too high since they exceed 0C. I hate that on sid.
Just pitch your tune a good old half note down. :) |

Eh, why is it a problem exceeding C? |

Best advice ever. :) Rearranging helps to break that dreaded 0C lock-in. |

Arps that start with 0 and go beyond C just start to sound weird (in my ears). Sorry, was not very clear when I typed it :)
Anyway...the 01 80 command seems to make a truckload of rastertime for the sid? |

Yeah, the tune is now -5 even, and now it works like a charm! |

It does indeed :)
But let 'em lazy ass coders work around that issue. No retreat, no surrender! |

And make sure you use the buffered SID-writes setting for extra sound stability. |
