Recovers of Amiga modules

Hi all musicians, anyone there knowns which amiga modules there have been converted/re covered/create as a .SID files?

I know that atleast Echoing from Banana/TEK has been made before other than myself, but I figure out that my version was not close enough to the original one, was either a half note or more below/above than the original and I really want to try do it as close as possible on Future Composer V2.0.

Monk, currently you don;t have still your own folder in HVSC. You must have more than 2 tunes released to the public :)

talking about best covers of Amiga modules - everyone has their own tastes so it;s not so easy o tell which one is da best :)

My version of Echoing is taken note-for-note from the original tracker file, the chances are it's out because it was done with EMS 4.x and i seem to remember that using the note table from the Programmer's Reference Guide so it'll be a little out because of that...?

A recognizable Amiga-MOD conversion is propably Enigma/Phenomena. The best version was done by Iron Cat/TRC, another one by Odie/Sonix Systems.

Check in HVSC for Red Devil folder. 'For Avantgarde', a very nice conversion of the mod of '3d demo/Anarchy'.

I remember Maktone did some conversion of a Amiga "Future Composer" tune. I think it's in the "Götta" collection. It kinda lacked the flow of the original though, if you ask me. Anyway, perhaps you were interested in plain "mod." files only?

Graham: Nah, Ironcat's version is okay but misses off a large wodge of the tune! Odie's is far better. =-)

Alot of replys in my topic :)

OK rambones the link you have pointed to didn't work when I had time to try it would be good if it did or else I did something wrong. :)

To T.M.R. Yes I know you have taken the notes directly from Echoing which was the same mistake I did, I can hear is it the same but not a real cover even with your tricky in E.M.S, then again lead not good enough for me which I know you even like in my version and I just think that was a good cover until I figure it out it was some notes wrong, so not good enough, since my idea is to get so close as possible to the original. :(
I think the lead in "Echoing" is the most important in that song, so this should be really good or close, but maybe that's all about opinions, but it was also for hear some others.
It's most logical to take notes, but if you hear them both at same time the C64 is playing it different than the amiga not thinking ADSR vs samples here but sounding.

Then I re-enter the notes in Future Composer, therefor I think it's you'r version and not a real cover, am I then perfectionist ? :) (I still like your cover try T.M.R. in your way but not a real cover of that song)

Funny Murdock didn't know you should have publish 2 or more songs to be in the HVSC, maybe I should release my lame amiga covers asap, if I wasn't so lazy with the code. (bad ones.) :)

Graham So your hear both amiga version and C64 at the same time :)

Clarence I will do I try check all of them but I also need amiga version of it so I really can compare them.

Frantic I need both for comparing these. :)

Oswald what is your opinion about it.

Maybe this is a big project I have as an idea, maybe is should just be one song instead of all of them.
