But this is a preview? I see that it messes up 8580 tunes & no high quality mode is available yet. (f.ex interpolation in sidplay2).
I must say that the new filter curve complies very well an 6581_R4. The distortion is really OK. But many classic SID tunes (the most old tunes) sound much better on R2 or R3.

it's just the standard old sidplay2/w with the filter patches applied. Nothing more. |

Sorry for the huuge bump, but... Since this thread was made 1½ years ago, alankila's distortion emulation has been updated many times, and it's on its 17-18th version.
Anyone who'd like to judge these new versions? :)
BTW, Inge, could you make another build, based on this new version? Pleeease? ^_^ |
