fucking lamer
Some short-dicked dogass-licking moron-son of a crack-whoreish
midget-rat, (who's been living of human shit since birth!), spread various versions of some of my music editors.
check c64.sk ...
http://www.forum64.de/wbb2/thread.php?postid=148871#post148871
http://files.filefront.com//;7129738;/
So it seems that there are still lamers around who want to fuck up things.
The latest editor in the rar file is a very early preview of my X-SID editor.
Viruz-Tracker was an editor I worked on before I started working on X-SID.
Both of these editors (the versions in the rar file) are without packer.
The CZP editor 2.0 is a really old one of mine which I used a lot, and for some strange reason it comes with a packer that includes user-code for Gerard Hultink. I know Gerard is _NOT_ responsible for all this though.
And I also don't care about CZP-editor and Viruz-Tracker as they are both very outdated.
so.... first thing I will do, is not to make the full version of X-SID public. And you can thank that retard who seems to call himself TimbaGansta (Damn I hate that idiot!!!)
Furthermore, now that I am making a lot of serious progress on a new player+editor (which already beats my previous editors+players in many ways), I also have to keep this to myself or atleast give it to less people than I first wanted to.
so, dear fellow sceners, sorry about my decision, but that's how things are going to be for now.
Remember who you can thank for all this.
May he rest and drown in his own piss! |

It's quite late for this (well, maybe not), but an invitation-based membership usually works very well. People like Bamu would have to work really hard to get in here (or get kicked out easily). |

not sure i totally agree with an invitation only csdb as there are many sceners out there who are not active and havent been for a long time and if we make this invitation only how will they ever get back if they want to
this could mean we miss out on alot of stuff from old sceners and i think that would be a crying shame
moderated csdb for me is the best way as some of the discussions on here have nothing to do with csdb at all and seem a total waste of server space
theres my two penneth worth!!! |

Invite Only is a good idea, but not possible to fulfill - I like to see just anyone able to register - but also being validated.
(No idea if this is done or not :) |

I'm sorry for what happened to you, Jeff.
We in Protovision know how this feels... :-(((
Imagine you have worked 3-4 years on a game, and somebody steals your workdisks and releases a preview that looks like the finished game, but with mediocre gameplay. People will go judge your game after what they saw...
It hurts, definitely. We have lost much through attacks like this. Some brilliant members, some support, and much much motivation.
But don't despair, most sceners are great. It's just that a few lamers already leave quite an impression. |

Jeff: I am sorry to hear about this incident. Yesterday I checked out your editor and it seems really cool. Looking forward to explore it further. Keep on coding.
About the other issue of this thread: from reading this thread I can surely see why some people want this board moderated more closely. On the other hand, I would never have gotten into the c64 scene if I hadn't spent some time lurking around here. I don't know anybody in real life who owns a c64 or are in the scene, so consequently I would never have received an invitation to join in here. The little new blood that is out there must have open access IMHO.
But a "Totally ignore lame user"-option sure would rock! ;)
Edit: hey, there is one actually! Duh. I'll put it to use straight away. :P |

Even after ignoring you still see the unusually active threads, and the replies others make, so you're soon tempted to press unignore, and participate in the war :)
But I don't think we'll see as much stupidity as with nata, for a long time. |
