Catweasel / Hardsid
Hi,
i was thinking about purchasing a catweasel or a hardsid so i can use a real sid under vice. Unfortunately i cant find any source that is able to deliver the catweasel and the newly announced hardsid costs a little more than I'm willing to shell out.
Does anyone in germany have a catweasel mk4 for sale (for a reasonable price) or any other suggestions how to get a sid into the pc ?
Cheers

It helps, since now he knows that the value of the old HardSIDs just increased by ~100EUR, thus he can focus all his energy on finding a CWMK4 :-P
Hmm.. that HardSID4Me sure looks nice... what're 349,- anyway when you're talking about the almighty SID! ..oh, wait.. that's 349,- *without* SIDs.. figures... ;-)

I would love to get me one of those cocksuckers, but it's a bit too much money for me :/

I don't find it that expensive.. These suckers aren't mass produced, and even if they were it'd still be relatively cheap - although I admit that the lack of SID chips is a bit of a let-down. I wish I had one. |

Indeed. And besides that, it's more than just a SID-tune replayer but a full-fletched synthmodule with nice VST-integration.
If you are a producer (hi Timbaland! ;-) it is a good invest for your studio.
I have a HardSID Quattro PCI so no need to upgrade (yet)
@Knoeki: stop smoking weed, get a spine, get a job for the weekends and it can be yours in a few months. So there's no need for you anymore to whine about your moneyproblems everytime a topic is started about new hardware. |

<rambones> where there is a will, there is a way.
you take 3 euro every day from your purse, and put them in a box. after 100 days, you order the hardsid4u.
done.
