New here

Hi all,
joined CSDb today, so I though I write a little introductory post...

I'm mostly concerned with C64 music, but try to do something a little bit different from the "classic" C64 sound... guess it's probably not to everybody's taste :)

If you get any weirder than ED's stuff, then you have my respect.

(DISCLAIMER : just poking fun at WD, don't take me serious)

Welcome

One good start would be to check out and experiment with some of the music editors that are stored on this C64 Scene Database.

Also you could try the music tutorials which Rio/Rattenrudel and I have done (http://www.redesign.sk/tnd64/music_scene.html). Hopefully it should get you started ;)

@LDX#$40: Running your 45 minute visual demo now, hehe.. nice. :)

Note that there are a lot of other C64 editors around apart from the on you seem to use. I guess you know...

Check out http://lcp.c64.org for a party where you can meet other c64 dudes in person.

Hi and welcome! I've actually been listening to your "Die Faust von Sodom" quite a bit during the last few months, it reminds me a lot of Haus Arafna and even Throbbing Gristle. :-)

Thanks for the welcomes...

Yeah, I know :) But somehow I've never warmed to any other trackers/ composers... maybe I should give it another try, but I'm actually quite happy with the Soundmaster. Maybe I'll try Richard's guide to get into DMC.

Thanks :D

Well, I hope I can get my musical activities restarted properly. For personal reasons I haven't really done much in the last year. At least I managed to put together a little live concert, which took place yesterday as part of a noise festival. I'll probably post some pictures on my website soon.
