sid in audio tracks
i remember there was a thread for spotting sids in tunes somewhere in the forum.. but not able to find it back asap right now..
but anyhow.. I was just listening to a polish radio station (my girlfriend is polish) and heard this song come by "Agnieszka Chylińska - Nie mogę Cię Zapomnieć"
Sounds very siddy to me, for example check http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GHcS1AM5Q4 around 2:26.
This version is a bit cleaner then the one i heard.. but nice sounds, no? ;)
So I was just wondering.. anyone know more about this artist and/or anyone from the polish c64 scene involved? |

The forum you're looking for is here:
'the sid stealing continues..'
The sid stealing continues! ...
I listened to the youtube video (nice track btw) and the part you refer to is probably ReSID or something like that, maybe just an apreggiator on a modern synth or sequencer?

Sounds more like SID station, the track was produced by guys from PlanB, sounds nice, although I was a fan of her old recordings. |

Chylinska is well known in Poland, however the sound you mention is just typical chipstyle arpeggio, can be done with a freeware crap softh synth of your choice ;) |
