What happened to my profile?!?!
Ok,. I loggin as Optimus, but there is someone called Ray upearing in my user profile, a bug happens just because it's written in the Handle Aka: Optimus Prime, Shadowskimmer..
I am not sure if this post will appear by Optimus or by Ray now, but it's me Optimus/Dirty Minds/Nasty Bugs now..

I'm not sure I understand your bugreport completly.
When you say "appearing in my user profile" what do you mean then?
If you mean pressing the handle in the "Users Online" it not a bug in any way.
What happens when this is pressed is that a search is done for any scener matching the login, and in this case only one match was found - namely the Ray guy. :)
To fix this you should add yourself to the DB - this is NOT done automaticly when signing up.
The account system and the scener system in CSDb is two different systems.
If you already entered yourself which has now been altered by someone else, follow the advice from MacGyver and lock your personal entry. :)

Thanks for the help..
I added myself in the database (Even if I am not a C64 scener (yet!)) and everything seems to work fine. I click on Users Online and both Ray and me appears there to choose.
Hmm.. is this how many sceners are logged in the CSDb btw? Why am I always alone???

I guess you are just unlucky. :)
CSDb gets about 200 unique visits a day - of theese about 100 is loged in and the average time ppl are loged in is about 5 minutes.
So you do the math and calculate the probability of not runing into other people. :)
I think the record of people that is loged in at the same time is 12.

I remember actually that I had declared myself as "Coder, Graphician, Logo Graphician, Webmaster" very early in here, because I had the same in my Ojuice profile (I code and did graphics on CPC and PC and ran some sites about the scene), but later I changed it to "Author" only because I have only participated in the C64 scene by writting one article for a diskmag till now.. |
