Download filenames changing
There is a "feature" in the download code which strips characters and/or truncates download filenames. Some changes were made to the code to fix some UTF-8 issues in mid-2018 and this "feature" was born. There may or may not be a fix in the future as this "feature" doesn't appear to break anything.
Some examples:
rock1packer-TFU-sb069350-1581backup.d64
will automagically change to
rock1packer-TFU.d64
or
Trilistron [BCS - Vienna-Soft].zip
will automagically change to
Trilistron-BCS.zip |
