Voting system hacked?

In the Top Demos section there is "Think Twice" on place 1. I don't think this is right. Maybe someone hacked the voting system?

Seeing me on this list makes me wonder..

Bitching is TEH shit, voting means nothing?
No wonder there are so many lazy people out there.
Without some recognition it is hard to know where you stand.
Please dear sceners, atleast vote for recent stuff!

As I mentioned before, it would probably motivate people if they would be awarded for the votes, even symbolically. A more visible voters-chart, a rank system, something similar to "coup de coeur", whatever...
Personally, I'm voting nevertheless, but maybe it would help to extend the number of active voters. Just look at the race for glöps at Pouet as an example.

...or we could just revert to using a normal average instead of a weighted one, until people start voting a lot. Kinda pointless to use "average" values if they're just weird, right? Eliminates the whole point of having it as a downvoting-proof system...

Something that always have made me wonder what it means is: some people/products whatever are getting lots of votes and some aren't... What does it really mean... I realized that I am the musician that has got most votes (not highest though, damn)... Having received alot of votes makes it difficult to either go further up or down in the charts... That's kinda demotivating... it has for some reason always irritated me when a demo or whatever has received 6 votes and gets 9.8 or so... ;) ... And to be honest... I hate downvoters... I really want to know who downvoted me... (of course it didn't have any impact on my average)... Would be nice to characterize a downvoter... Didn't know that I had enemies... Eventhough I might have offended some people... Sorry for that... Would be nice of you to come forth... chickens ;)

On one side of the hand I agree with Jailbird that it could be more motivating to vote, if one gets 'points' like for the posts, but on the other hand the 'prices' for each ten (or more) votes shouldn't be very high, to avoid people to vote blindly, just for the best 'price'. Maybe a popup (oh no, thats some kinda spam), better a PM with a funny text or background info to one of the voted prods would do. Or one 'monthly highest vote show'!!!
The other thing is to change the voting system,
either to the so called 'normal average' or to some kind of 'percentual voting'.
And the very very importantst thing (what DRAX and Tch posted) is to give a prod a vote, if you checked it.
Don't klick to the next prod, leave the actual unvoted.

Even I did that klick-next-prod-without-vote, before I realized that this was crap.
This was exactly the point, why I started this topic!
One more thing to the 'downvoters', if they really exists (what I can't believe, but be warned, I'm a bit naive).
They haven't got a chance to 'downvote' a prod, if there are many votes for it.
*puh* that was much. Thank you for the audience.

I forgot something:
It would be easier for tohse, who vote too seldom, if the 'Vote'-pulldownmenu always is present in the menubar to the right :)
Ehm and my next posts will be shorter ;-)
