Yo,

i was just wondering, why the hell does the x2010 thread take so fucking long to load.

Then i noticed that the paging was disabled, so i checked my forum settings.

It said 10 but wasn't showing any effect. So i set it to a different number and voilà there was the paging again.

Now, here's a wild guess.

Could this possibly be a common phenomenon, users viewing without paging (though they have it seemingly enabled in their settings)
and that some threads (larger ones, like the x2010) when loaded unpaged cause some massive load on the server ?

Could be a possible explanation why the site is so god awfully slow sometimes (lots of times) ?
