Date of release 1981

I've just noticed that when adding releases, you cannot add a date earlier than 01/01/1982. Yet, Sector 90 has a date of 01/03/1981 in the credits, but this cannot be added correctly to CSDb. Can 1981 be added to the valid year range?

There are often writing mistakes in dates. And additionally to that many of the old groups had a 4 digit number applied to their groupname (for example: The Mercenary Cracker 1991, Plutonium Crackers 2001 etc etc) which they often also used as year in their date. Back then it was not problem ofcourse when 2001 was still far away, but these days this might cause a bit of confusion :D

just like graham said, it's a writing mistake. release date is 91 not 81.

I should do my research next time... :)

In fact it's 1987, not 1981 or 1991, judging by when the other releases of Sector 90 is from.

As the rules of CSDb say: only add information you are 100% sure of.

Personally I'd say about 90% is enough, but hey... it should not become guessing. :-)

Still, it´s kind of embarrassing for those guys to have a typo in the main screen of their release. ;)

Well, the '1' and the '7' are right next to each other, so it's a mistake easily made ;)

There's also BASIC games which are (C)ed 1980 or 1981. Those have been transfered from the compatible CBM 8xxx series straight to the 64.
