Forum search
Perff, I don't know if it was intended or not, but the forum search input fields are so well hidden that it seems noone is actually using them. Could you put it on the main page? One of the most frequented area of the site would deserve a proper search ability at least.

Yes, pleazzee!!!!
Oh, and also extended search queries please. Maybe something like the google/altavista queries. With the - to exclude, the + to include, the "" for exact matches and so on... |

I see the changes on this page, still how about putting a new option to the pull down menu in the "Search CSDb" box on the right side?

Could be an easy solution to add "forum" in the drop-down.
However, the "All" will not work on both entries and forum at the same time. Think that would be an ugly result-page..
About the more advanced query-mode, it havn't got first priority, but perhaps.. :) |

In that case just leave out the forum results from All, yet leave an option to select forum search from the search box. Win-win situation.

I have an additional wish for the search function. It would be nice to limit the search to a specific time period. For example all magazines after 2005 or all demos in 1996. |

I see :-) I newer clicked 'advanced' before since I guessed it just lead to the 'browse' dialog (Which have kind of a simple search) |
