American group entries
Could anyone of the maintainers unlock all American groups which were locked by this idiot Moloch!!!

Hmm.. I think we have had this discussion before..
Before we do anything I would like to hear what Moloch have to say about this. Moloch??
The original idea to lock entries is ofcause to 'protect' it againt ppl who likes to fuck stuff up.
But when you are locking an entry you also have some responsibility for making sure that the info in the entry is correct and complete (to some extend at least).
Locking stuff just because it's from the NTSC scene isn't a good enough reason imho.
This leads us to an old idea which were forgotten. (sry)
You should be able to semi-lock an entry. This means that everyone can edit leverything ike it wasn't locked, but the semi-maintainer(s) will be notified on every change made, and who made it.
This would require some code-effort by us (me) and my time is very short right now, but if ppl like this idea I might be able to find the time. :) |

I had already mailed him about it app. 2 weeks ago, no response.
I cannot add info to all the American sceners I have info to add. It is like if I'd lock all German sceners.. ridicolous.
Also Wanderer wasn't too happy that another person had locked his scener entry. |
