broken links

yay, it'd be great if the "show broken links" feature could filter those entries which still have a valid link besides the broken one, or in other words, only show the entries that only have broken links. now with c64.rulez.org beeing down its a bit of a pain to find the entries which actually need a file.

nice but... there is a bug :) the "releases which just got one broken link" (whats that supposed to mean anyway =D) feature eg lists +H4K twice. (it has two broken links)

oh and while we are at it... please also add a filter that shows all releases that do not have an "internal" download (imho the long term goal should be to have everything internal).

oh well, external links with not too big files could perhaps be mirrored automatically

Quote: @Groepaz: You got your filter. :)

@Bordeaux: I just checked the numbers. There are currently 60049 releases with download links, and "only" 6136 of those only got an external link.
So there is no storage issue on the server. :)

A list of these releases can be found here, so go knock yourself out. :)
Please don't reload this page to often... ;)

hmm, so couldn't sleep so put in some insomnia time to see how fast it would go. 5999 of the 6136 left in under 1,5 hours. and that includes a crashed pc (too many windows open) and skipping over locked files manually (all entries starting with a number are only locked entries now btw).

So that's 3 entries every 2 minutes or so.
Hmm 6000 entries to go, asuming they were all unlocked, would be 4000 minutes or 66.66 hours left to go.

That's not too bad actually, I would have expected it to last longer, i doubt programming an automated import could be done in under 66 hours, but if i'm wrong please let me know :)

@perff could you filter out the locked entries from the list possibly?(only if it's something that wouldn't take you too much time, I realise it's a luxery request)

Anyone else want to help btw? otherwise i'll just spread this out an hour a day over the next weeks/months during insomnia hours ;)

@mace anything below that is unsorted at the moment ;)

@perff any chance on the filter to exclude locked files?

Damn, there are a lot of broken links.
All the links from the Creators are broken, I wonder if that domain will come backup.

We need more people helping us uploading.

@Bordeaux: Not very userfriendly, but here is your filter: http://noname.c64.org/csdb/misc/releasesonlyextdl.php?nolock=1
