Who needs those annoying side-ads?
I know you can avoid viewing ads on the left-side bar by disabling the left-side bar view on your user account, but generally when not logged in you always see these worthless adverts on CSDB wherever you go, especially ones about gay dating surveys! :/
Any chance of getting rid of these altogether ?
Sites like Codebase64 and c64.sk don't show these ads, so why can't CSDB do the same? Just a suggestion. |

The content of those Google ads are based on your search-queries and surfing behaviour ;-)
But what Groepaz said, log in and ads be gone!
On a side note; I wonder how much extra $$$ those ads give Perff on a yearly base. Enough to buy an icecream or ...? |

Very funny, Roland ;P I admit I searched for The Flintstones and Little Britain a couple times. ;)
Okay, if it's a money donation issue to the server, that's fine. Just thought if it was possible for perff to apply some html to stop them appearing, for those who don't have user accounts. |

...not everyone is so stupid as owner of c64.sk to pay their projects from their own pocket. Dont' worry it's not that much though as redesign.sk which is about ~600 EUR wasted (over 7 years) for hosting of nothing expcept of two uk based scener's sites ;-) |

Codebase64 doesn't have ads because the website hosting is donated by a scener. Same person also hosts Import64 and a few other unfinished website projects.

2008 to Conrad! Anyone there? :)
Adblock Plus to the rescue!
...or filter.ini if you're using Opera
...or a host file edit if you have a stupid browser without an adblocker |
